PRODUCT DESCRITION
This is one of the pioneer projects of the Institute. The project aims to investigate the possibility of producing a Made in Nigeria motorcycle through reverse engineering. This project is designed to assess the level of local input in the manufacture of the parts of the motorcycle and the possible ways of improving the design, quality, and quantity of the local content. It is also intended to develop local human capacity in engineering design and development in the motorcycle manufacturing industry in Nigeria. All these are aimed at achieving wealth and job creation, and making available local capacity in motorcycle production and hence reducing foreign exchange used in importation.
